Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The World Health Organization has declared the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak a global pandemic.
Our firm is following the latest updates and developments.
On March 23, 2020, the Ontario Government announced the shutdown of non-essential businesses.
The latest list of the businesses that were deemed essential at the time can be found here. Services provided by lawyers are essential.
We would like to advise current and future clients that our firm is continuing to operate in a modified manner, specifically, in-person meetings are suspended until further notice. Meetings with clients and other lawyers may be conducted via tele-conference or video-conference.
We are committed to meeting our clients’ goals and advancing their legal matters.
On March 18, 2020 the Federal Government and Provincial Government announced certain programs to assist employees during the COVID-19 crisis.
We would be pleased to advise both employees and employers with respect to any questions they have regarding these programs and any other employment law issues related to the COVID-19 crisis.
Thank you,
Ken
